Covered Bridge Festival

October 11, 2014 - October 12, 2014

Graham Road, the center piece of an Ashtabula County Metro Park, sports an 8X8 barn quilt that honors the Benson family, which donated the land the covered bridge rests upon.

Come out to the Graham Road covered bridge in Pierpont during the Covered Bridge Festival. We will have barn quilt information, fundraising hot dogs roasted over an apple wood fire, beverages and popcorn, all to benefit the barn quilt trail.

On Saturday afternoon, we’ll have vocalist Bob Turner playing music in the bridge. And on Sunday, Oct. 12, the bluegrass band Hit and Run will perform.

Both day, author Carl E. Feather will be on hand to sell and sign his “Covered Bridges of Ashtabula County.”

We also will be raffling off a 2×2 BARN QUILT! The replica of the Graham Road covered bridge, Benson’s Bridge, is the prize. This will be a one-of-a-kind barn quilt! Tickets are just $5 each. The quilt was painted by Jeffrey Scribben of Artist Woodworks and donated to the committee. Thank you Jeff and Rachel!

Don’t miss this weekend of fun, Oct. 11 and 12, and a chance to enjoy our covered bridges and support the Barn Quilt Trail.
