The barn quilt:

This is a 4-by-4-foot barn quilt designed by Tonia Varckette, who owns the Heard it Through the Grapevine B&B on this property, owned by Doug and Fred Douglas Brown.

The symbolism of the quilt’s motifs are explained by Tonia:

“The purple symbol is the Alzheimer’s Association sign, to honor my mom who is living with Alzheimer’s. The coffee and muffin represents the B&B I run in the cottage on the property; the Model T is to honor my dad who restored/rebuilt the Model T that he owns; the two horses represent my daughters’ two horses that live on the property.”

The grapes represent the farm’s placement in the heart of the grape country, reflected in the B&B’s name.
