The Civic Development Corporation (CDC) of Ashtabula County provided in 2015 a grant for 8X8-foot barn quilts on covered bridges and heritage barns.
The Ashtabula County Engineer/Highway Department made installation of this quilt possible. Read about this feat, which involved putting a track hoe into the river.
The covered bridge
The farm nearby:
To the north of this bridge is the Eric and Diane Frantz farm. Diane has a custom cheesecake business at this location, and the farm raises sheep and cattle.
